Endoscopic ear surgery is an evolving technique that is a valuable adjunct to the traditional microscopic approach to ear pathology. In selected cases it allows a more minimal approach with the goal of maximising function, whilst still adequately addressing the disease. One of the more exciting aspects of this technique for the surgeon (and the patient) is improved visualisation and appreciation of the complex anatomy of the ear.

Specialised equipment is required in addition to our standard operating microscope and microscopic instruments.
